Why Jim’s is a question all my family and friends ask, when there is so many other “teams” to join. For me it’s simple. Jim’s Franchise has proven operational models, marketing systems and financial success. Jim’s Car Detailing has given me the opportunity to fill a void in the car wash market; that is to bring back the personal touch and customer satisfaction as opposed to automated services at every corner. This has allowed me to create a business offering  a higher-quality, full car detailing service making the customer’s needs the first and only priority.

Further, Jim’s car detailing made the most sense given my previous success with a car detailing business in South Africa. So without a doubt and plenty support from my wife and kids,  I knew it was the right fit for me.

Oh , and did I forget to mention that I am I own boss, determining my own hours and not to mention salary. Best perk ever is not having the dreaded Monday Blues.

I have always had a passion for cars. I was looking at different franchises when my accountant told me that I should do what I love doing. After going through the different franchises, he recommended Jim’s. Unlike the others, Jim’s has the support, back up and guaranteed income. I have been with Jim’s for 7 months now and am going well. I enjoy the flexibility.

I am a perfectionist so I might spend a bit more time on a vehicle but customers are very appreciative and are willing to pay for a top job. I already have quite a few regular customers including schools , government departments, TAFE colleges and small local businesses. I like meeting different people and working on a wide range of vehicles. If you have a passion for cars and give that little bit extra in customer service, you will be appreciated by the customer. You know when you have done excellent work for the customer when they present you with gifts at Xmas. That made my day.

Jim’s Car Detailing is the first time I have had my own business. As a new business owner I had many reservations and nerves in making that initial first step toward taking on my own business but the Jims group were very supportive during this process. There has also been great ongoing support offered to me by the group from administration, product info, technical info and detailing techniques. My franchise has been building strongly since my start and is becoming everything that I wanted it to be. It has given me the freedom of being my own boss and the benefit in creating a great work life balance.
